Mark Saylor (
vCard), President of Saylor Company, has represented a wide range of high-profile companies, countries and individuals and is known for his extensive media relationships. A former senior editor at
The Los Angeles Times, where he edited Pulitzer Prize-winning financial coverage, Saylor was a member of Sitrick and Company before founding his own firm. Saylor was Senior Vice President in charge of publishing for Key3Media Events when the company produced the world's largest technology trade events. He created BioSecurity 2002, an event for professionals dealing with the threat of bioterrorism.
During a journalism career that spanned more than 20 years, Saylor was Senior Business Editor for Technology and Entertainment at The Los Angeles Times, California Politics Editor at The Times, and City Editor for The Times in San Diego. He taught journalism at the University of Southern California and the American Press Institute, and was a member of two Pulitzer Prize-winning teams for covering the Los Angeles riots and the Northridge earthquake. He also worked as an editor and reporter at The San Jose Mercury News and at the Arkansas Democrat. He is a graduate of Harvard College.
